Body Posture Criteria in Receiving Ball Technique Based on Body Height Indoor Hockey Player

The purpose of this research is to acknowledge body stance in receiving ball technique. Indoor hockey a sport with high intensity. has some basic techniques, one them Author analyzes the technique based on which consists starting stance, execution and ending stance. Body from been demonstrated by Hockey players Sport Science Faculty Jakarta State University. Data collected observations, interviews, questionnaire filling requests. This aims make tracer study ideal height. using qualitative methods distributing questionnaires each athlete. Population athletes University, data sample total sampling results respondents stated there that playing experience, convenience, support ability shown respectively completely agreed percentage 37% 41%, 44% 48%, 52% dan 37%. Furthermore, height arm length are disagreed hesitant 30%, 33%, It means did not affect respondent’s accuracy for doing ball. Nevertheless, hand grips was corroborated 70% 15% grip convenience 44%. result will be distributed coaches as evaluation material.
